I have spent alot of my time at home recently waiting for the arrival of our little baby girl and realised yesterday how beautiful the garden was looking around me. It is almost a year since Simon left our human family and as the date of that first anniversary of his passing approaches, I notice all the same things flowering, the warmer rays of the sun as our days grow longer and the promise of new beginnings. In Kundalini Yoga there is a mantra SA TA NA MA which means, birth, life, death and rebirth – the cycle of life and how there is no beginning and no ending to who we are – we simply transform. Nature always has a calming and healing influence and as I am moving through so many emotions at this time, I am grateful for it. So it is the Spring Equinox and a time to appreciate the beauty that is all around us when we take the time to look. May we all see that beauty and know that it is also in each of us. Here are some photos of the beauty around me in the garden that reminded me.
